Troubleshooting: license errors
"Your Sauvrn license is invalid"
The most common cause is a token that's expired or was revoked. Open the extension and click Reconnect. The web app will issue a fresh token.
If reconnecting fails with the same error, the underlying license itself may be in trouble — see the next section.
"Your Sauvrn license was revoked"
This appears when an admin in your workspace has manually revoked the license. The most common reasons:
- The workspace owner ended the subscription.
- A security event triggered a revocation.
If you weren't expecting it, email your workspace owner — or support@sauvrn.ai if you're the owner.
"This device was disconnected"
This is the token-level form of revocation. Only this device's token was revoked; the workspace license is still active. Click Reconnect to mint a fresh token for this device. The old token cannot be reused, so an old browser profile or copied install will need to reconnect too.
I see the wrong workspace name in the extension
You may belong to more than one Sauvrn workspace. Open the extension's settings, click Switch workspace, and pick the one you want. The extension will fetch a token for that workspace's license.
Nothing here matches my error
Please use the Send feedback form inside the extension — it includes diagnostic info that helps us debug. Or email support@sauvrn.ai with the error text.
