FAQ
Does Retrace send my browsing data anywhere?
No. See Retrace's privacy commitment for the full breakdown.
What does Retrace do?
Retrace is a recall layer for your browser. It remembers what you read across your SaaS tools and lets you Find it (instant hybrid search), Ask about it (grounded, on-device Q&A), and — as it ships — Navigate back to the exact encounter. It has two parts: a browser extension (remembering and UI) and a desktop app (the local core that stores your memory and computes Find and Ask on your machine). See Install.
Can I share my license with a teammate?
Each Sauvrn workspace can have multiple members. The workspace owner invites teammates by email from the web app. Each member uses their own sign-in to receive a per-device license token.
What you can't do is share a token directly — tokens are minted per user, per device, and sharing one breaches the terms. We don't police it automatically today: seats are recorded on the license but nothing in the product refuses a mint or a check because of them. What a workspace owner or admin can do is remove that person from Members in the web app, which revokes every license token they hold for the workspace in the same step. There is no per-device revoke in the web app today, and it is not instant either way: an extension finds out at its next license check, which runs about every six hours.
How do I cancel?
Open the web app, go to Settings → Billing, and click Manage subscription. You'll be sent to Stripe's Customer Portal where you can cancel.
I'm an enterprise buyer — can I get a contract?
Yes. Email sales@sauvrn.ai.
Is my data backed up?
No, because we don't have your data. Your memory lives on your device — in the desktop app's local encrypted store and in the browser profile Retrace runs in. It is never on our servers, so we can't restore it for you.
